A fast, focused process.
Faster, better informed decisions.
Partnership activity is increasing dramatically in the pharmaceutical industry. That makes it essential for the parties on both sides of a potential partnership to explore the opportunity quickly and thoroughly, and to communicate well.
At Bristol-Myers Squibb, we've refined our licensing process to shorten each stage, improve the speed of our response, and -- at the same time -- increase the depth of analysis. By thoroughly defining the objectives and activities in each stage, and by conducting activities simultaneously whenever possible, we have made our process fast, thorough, and predictable.
Timely and full communication.
We know that with many pharmaceutical companies your opportunity may seem to disappear into a complex and silent organization. That is why we're committed to keeping you updated on the process. In fact, because our process is so tightly defined, you will understand how long each stage should take.
You'll be developing a strong relationship with members of our strategic transactions group. People who will keep you informed -- and whom you can call at any time with questions. Other people who make a powerful difference are those within the organization who conduct the due diligence and work with the partner, post signing. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, it is second nature to our staff to work smoothly with partners -- as our track record attests.
As the process enters its later stages, we will formally assign a member of our Alliance Management team to represent the new partnership within our company. That means you'll always have access to the information and people you need within Bristol-Myers Squibb.
